Ruth Lee Zeigler

Ruth Lee Zeigler, age 87, of Alliance and Canton, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Mercy Medical Hospice Center.
She was born April 7, 1929 in Mckees Rocks, Pennsylvania to Joseph Pitzerolla and Rose (Roppa) Pitzerolla Ganni.
A graduate of Mckees Rocks High School, Ruth retired from Sterling Drug Company after working as a supervisor for 25 years.
Survivors include her three children, son, Gary (Terri) Zeigler and family, Michael (Traci) Zeigler, Isabella, Gary (Kendra) Zeigler II, Ava and Grayson, and Anthony Zeigler; son, LeRoy Zeigler and family, Angela (Brian) Bates, Gina (Jason) Gohlike, Paige Zeigler and Kyle Zeigler; daughter, Karen (Mark) Norcia and family, Tia (Mike) Trissel, Cole Trissel; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roy Zeigler, whom she married December 14, 1946 and who died September 20, 2003; and granddaughter, Andrea Zeigler.
Services will be held Sunday April 9, 2017 at 4 p.m. at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. prior to the service.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Astoria Skilled Nursing for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice in Ruth's honor.
