Samuel A. Rowley Sr

Samuel A. Rowley Sr. age 77 of Alliance, passed away at 7:35 a.m. Monday, December 18, 2017, at Essex I of Salem.
He was born November 13, 1940, in Glenncamel, Pennsylvania, to Octa and Margaret (Snyder) Rowley.
An Alliance High School graduate, Samuel had been employed at Transue in Alliance and enjoyed golfing.
Samuel was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his two sons, Samuel A. "Butch" (Jena) Rowley Jr. and Fred Rowley; four grandchildren, Hailee, Cole, Allison and Alyssa; and two brothers, Ray (Sharon) Rowley and Herk (Carol) Rowley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Nicholas; three sisters, Mary, Rene and Juanita; and a brother, Bill.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
