Sandra Kay Thayer, age 67, of Alliance, passed away at 8:35 a.m. June 2, 2010 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born May 19, 1943 in Sebring, Ohio and was the daughter of Robert Mummert and Maxine (Philpot) Mummert Saltsman.
Sandra was formerly employed by Mt. Union Bank and RBI Office Supply.
Survivors include her husband, Verle Thayer, whom she married Feb. 14, 1963; daughter, Michelle Thayer, son, Greg Thayer, grandchildren, Adam, Kody and Jaden, and step-father, William Saltsman, all of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 7, 2010 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Martin officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
