Sara Elizabeth (Lowe) Eiler, age 96, of Alliance, Ohio, passed away at 9:35 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2014 at Bel Air Care Center.
She was born November 17, 1917, in Marion Township, Pa., to George W. and Gertrude (Long) Lowe.
Sara attended New Brighton High School, Penn State University and retired from Providence Hospital in Beaver Falls, Pa. after 25 years as a dietician.
She was a member of the Concord United Methodist Church in Beaver Falls, Pa., United Methodist Women, Garden Club, Historical Society in New Brighton, Daugherty Township Fire Department Auxillary and was a 4H leader for many years.
Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Riebold of Alliance and Beverly Baker of Shattuck, OK; grandchildren, John Benton Baker of Shattuck, OK and Edward Lowe Baker of Beaver, PA; and great-grandchild, Edward Lowe Baker, Jr. of Beaver, PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Eiler whom she married December 12, 1935; sister, Edith Lowe and brothers, Albert, Wiley and Harry.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
