Sarah Grace Stanley (according to her Instagram description) was "15 years young and loving the single life, 4H and archery. I ain't here for a long time, I'm here for a good time." Sarah lived and died with her boots on as the result of a tragic farm accident on Saturday, August 1, 2015.
Sarah Grace was born at home on December 20, 1999 to Bill and Denise (Neiswanger) Stanley.
Sarah was home-schooled and just completed 9th grade. Sarah lived life to the fullest. She was always looking forward to and planning the next celebration. An incredibly thoughtful person, Sarah was selfless, working to make money so she could buy gifts for others. She enjoyed making art to give away and put a lot of thought into each piece.
She was a member of Country Barbwires 4H Club and had a passion for exhibiting livestock at the Stark County Fair. She attended Grace Chapel in Minerva and was a member of the Straight-Arrow Archery Club.
Sarah loved country music, dancing, camping, biking, swimming, fort-building, and spending time with her family and friends.
A huge lover of all animals, Sarah had 8 sheep, loved her Great Pyrenees puppy, Phoebe, and was a self-described "cat-farmer." Having just received her permit, all she wanted to do was buy a Jeep, commenting on every Jeep she saw as "the one she wanted."
Sarah will be forever loved by her family, including her parents, Bill and Denise Stanley; her brothers, Josiah, Aaron and Isaac; paternal grandmother, Mary Jane Stanley; maternal grandfather, Dan Neiswanger; maternal grandmother, Linda (Tom) Kelleher; Aunts, Danielle (Rich) Schmidt, Marcy (Stephen) Knoble, Janet (Tim) Eberhardt, Joyce Gosiewski (Richard Fetters), Carol (Ken) Sponseller, Rebekah (Jason) Fisher; Uncles, Derrick Kelleher, Tim (Kari) Kelleher, and Ken (Connie) Stanley; and numerous cousins and friends.
Sarah was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Kenneth Stanley.
Sarah's life will be celebrated at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11 a.m. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday.
