Sarah Katheryn Crosby, age 99, of Sebring, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Crandall Medical Center.
She was born May 6, 1920, in Sugar Grove, Pennsylvania to John and Katheryn (Hildebrand) Mallery.
A 1938 graduate of Lottsville, Pa. High School, she graduated as a R.N in 1944 from Butler County Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Max T. Crosby, of Sebring, whom she married March 9, 1946; children, Dr. James (Joanne) Crosby and Judith (John) Ramsay both of Vestal, New York, Jerold (Bethany) Crosby of Sandy, Oregon and Rev. Jarvis (Sharon) Crosby of Toccoa, Georgia; eleven grandchildren, and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Kenneth, Dr. Rodney, John and Harold Mallery; and son, John Crosby.
Sarah was a lifelong and faithful follower of Jesus for whom she was faithful in prayer and giving loving service to others. She was a member of Southside Church of God in Alliance.
Services will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Ave. Alliance, OH 44601, at 11 a.m. on November 2 with calling and greeting starting at 10 a.m.
Interment will be at Warren County Memorial Park in Warren, Pennsylvania.
