Shane A. Tournoux, age 23, of Alliance, passed away Tuesday morning, August 28, 2012, at his home.
He was born April 15, 1989, in Alliance, to Dion and Sherry (Dalesandro) Tournoux.
Shane attended the First Baptist Church in Alliance, graduated from Alliance High School in 2007 and was employed as a cook in various restaurants. He enjoyed cooking, playing and watching sporting events, and being with his dogs. He was a very talented drummer who enjoyed music. He was also a very kind and compassionate young man to all.
Survivors include his parents, Dion and Sherry; sister, Nikki (Jared) Witt and brother, Neil Tournoux, both of Columbus; maternal grandparents, Jim (Carol) Bales of Chelsea, Ala.; paternal grandparents, Bernie (Shirley) Tournoux of Hartville; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Shane was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Louise Tournoux.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, August, 31, 2012, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Jared Witt officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery.
