Sharon Khune Auvil, age 56 of Alliance, died at her home at 8:55 a.m. Aug. 18, 2004.
She was born Aug. 27, 1947 in West Virginia to Carlos and Beulah (Grey) Huffman, and was a lifelong area resident.
Sharon graduated from Fairless High School, and worked as a Manager for Ponderosa Steak House and also at Ashley's Restaurant in the Canton Hilton.
Survivors include her husband Billy Auvil, one daughter Barbara Vogelsong of Alliance, son Todd Bair of Massillon, son Billy Khune of Minerva, daughter Tessa Miller of Dover, stepson Sean Stephen and 16 grandchildren. Sharon is also survived by her brother Wayne Keister of Columbus and two sisters Joanie Glisipie and Patty Clark both of Jeffersonville, Ohio, Letisha Hintz of Point Pleasant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son Chuck, who died in 1990.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Auvil officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Welty Cemetery.
