Sharon A. Windland, age 56 of Alliance, died August 20, 2005 at the Lutheran Hospital in Cleveland.
She was born August 29, 1948 in Alliance, Ohio to Andrew and Doris (Cole) Bolog and was a lifelong area resident.
Sharon graduated from Alliance High School in 1968, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Alliance.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Windland, whom she married Aug. 16, 1974; one son, Robert A. (Megan) Windland, of Alliance; one daughter, Karla (Jimmy) Colon of Alliance; five grandchildren, Marianna, Jimmy Jr., Alexis, Alexandra, and Katherine Colon; four brothers, Andy Bolog of Akron, Craig (Pearl) Bolog of Alliance, Artie VanKampen of Alliance, and Gary VanKampen of Alliance; two sisters, Lori (Fred) Lyeberger of Atlanta, Georgia, and Robin (Steve) Caruso of Alliance, and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, and her step-father, Art VanKampen.
The family will receive friends at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until Noon on Friday.
