Sherrie Oliver

Sherrie Marie Oliver, age 77, passed away on Wednesday November 27, 2024. 

She was born on July 23, 1947, in Akron, to Arthur and Gladys ‘Jackie’ (Mansell) Plueddemann.

A graduate of Stow High School, Sherrie was a member of Harvest Baptist Church in South Carolina where she enjoyed volunteering and also attended Damascus Friends Church here in Ohio.

Sherrie truly loved her family and being around people. She loved lighthouses, birds, flowers and camping. 

She also enjoyed travelling, especially to Jekyll Island and her favorite water fountain and flower park in South Carolina.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Cliff (Holly) Swonger, Shannon (Liz) Swonger, Dana ‘Tony’ (Chantell) Oliver, Tina (Nick) Tepus, Keith (Barb) Oliver and Jerry (Stephanie) Oliver; 21 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Suzette (Jim) Bostaph and Calista (Ed) Woodring; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Bart Oliver. 

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday December 3, 2024 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
