Shirley A. Carpenter, age 72 of Alliance, died at 6 p.m. October 24, 2005 at her home.
She was born July 5, 1933 in Alliance, Ohio to William B. and Martha M. (Smith) Graham and was a lifelong resident.
Shirley was employed at the former G.C. Murphy Company in Alliance.
Survivors include her children; Shirley L. Carpenter of Alliance; Lewis B. (Margie) Carpenter of Alliance; Kevin L. (Michele) Carpenter of Alliance; Vanessa L. (Ken) Goodman of Alliance, and five grandchildren, Brittany, Bridget, Ian, Tyler and Ryan.
Mrs. Carpenter was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lewis E. Carpenter, whom she married July 24, 1956, and who died Feb.19, 1993; and four sisters, Edna Lamb, Betty Harless, Carol White and Thelma Burnett.
No services or visitation will be held. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
