Shirley Ann Bollinger, age 75, of Alliance, passed away at 2:20 a.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Alliance Community Hospital with her family by her side.
Born April 18, 1934, in Winona, Ohio, to Galen K. and Helen M. (Walton) Weaver, Shirley resided in the Alliance area since 1951.
A 1952 graduate of Alliance High School, Shirley retired in 1990 from Electronic Circuits and Design after 14 years of service.
She is survived by her husband, Vincent Ray Bollinger of Alliance, whom she married October 27, 1962; son, Timothy K. Phillippi of St. Augustine, Fla.; two daughters, Rebecca J. (Earl) Clements of Cape Coral, Fla., and Traci L. (Bill) Difloure of Alliance; thirteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Kevin; grandson, Brandon Carpenter; and a great-grandson, Amari Clements.
A private service will be held at a later date with Pastor Joe Peters officiating. Interment will be at Salem Grandview Cemetery in Salem.
