Shirley Moffett

"Together Again"

Shirley Moffett, age 88, passed away peacefully at her home on March 9, 2023.

She was born on June 18, 1934 in Alliance to Wilber and Ann (Savage) Yarian.

Shirley was active in the Limaville Lions Club. She enjoyed bicycling and hanging wallpaper. She was known for her wonderful pies. More than anything, Shirley loved caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be loved and missed by her family daughter, Debbie Skubiak; son, Jerry (Sherry) Moffett; grandchildren, Melissa (Gary) Krenzer, Andrew (Joanna) Franks, Ann Moffett, and Leigh (Alex) Martin; great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Brianna, Brayden, Shelby, Hadley and Mae; and best friend, Dee Paina.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 70 years, Edward Wendell Moffett; and son-in-law, Chris Skubiak.

A funeral service will be held at First Christian Church on Wednesday, March 15th at 11:00 a.m. with Sue Dehoff officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
