Sondra A. Riley age 66 of Alliance, died at 6:55 a.m. Wednesday June 16, 2004 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born August 16, 1937 in Wellsville, Ohio to Harry Edward and Lora Maxine (Curry) Baughman, and lived in Alliance since 1993, after moving from Newark, California.
Sondra graduated from Wellsville High School in May 1955 and graduated from the Ohio Valley Business College in June 1958.
She currently operated Riley Bookkeeping Service and employed by CMG Business Services, Westminster Presbyterian Church of Canton, Trinity Episcopal Church of Alliance, and the YWCA of Alliance. She was formerly employed by Robert and Betty Swanson C.P.A. in California.
Sondra was a member of Vine Street Methodist Church.
Survivors include one nephew Jim (Chris) Meade of Canton, Ohio and one niece Janice (Chris) Carson of East Rochester, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Betty J. Meade and one brother Donald Baughman.
Services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Timothy Kim officiating. Friends may call from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Friday.
Memorial Contributions may be made to YWCA of Alliance, Vine Street Methodist Church, or the American Cancer Society.
