Sophie M. Umberger

Sophie M. Umberger, age 88, of North Canton, passed away at Windsor Medical Center October 27, 2022.

She was born August 11, 1934 to Nicholas and Mary (Sarianides) Cazangides.

She enjoyed gardening and loved her neighbors.

Those left to cherish her memory are her step-sons, Brett (Tammy), Brian (Cindy), Gregg (Kelly) and Grant Umberger; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Lawrence L. Umberger, whom she married February 4, 1988 and who died March 22, 2021.

A memorial service will be held November 12, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Marlboro Cemetery Chapel with interment to follow.
