Spencer Allen Barker, Sr., age 52, of Alliance, passed away at 7:05 p.m., Monday, February 2, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center.
He was born June 23, 1962, in Alliance, Ohio, to Jack and Violet (Myers) Barker.
Spencer attended Sebring High School. He liked to watch NCIS, ride his buggy and was a great jokester.
Survivors include his wife, Fonda (Salisbury) Barker whom he married February 13, 1980; children, Spencer Jr. (Liz) Barker; D.D. Barker and Terry (Aleisha) Barker, all of Alliance and Maggie (Casey) Jarvis of North Benton; grandchildren, Savanna, Alexia, Nakeeta, Skylar, Leigha, Karmyn and Paisley; step-grandchildren, Jayla, Dillon and Nevaeh; sister, Gail Williams of Alliance; brother, Henry (Mandy) Barker of Alliance; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Salisbury; and brother-in-laws, Bill McMillen and Charles (Tanya) Salisbury
He was preceded in death by his parents; three grandchildren; brothers, Jack Barker and John Barker; sister, Susie McMillen; and sister-in-law, Margaret Hurst.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2015, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
