Sterril Bryant, age 84, of Alliance, died at 11:40 p.m. April 23, 2010, at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born July 9, 1925, in Grahn, Kentucky, to Ayers and Martha (Mosier) Bryant.
Mr. Bryant lived in Alliance most of his life and worked at Republic Steel and LTV Steel in Canton for 34 years.
He was a member of Maranatha Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Mary L. Bryant; daughters, Ruth Ann (Lyle) McKendree of Alliance, June (Carl) Ruminski of Franklin Park, Illinois, and Gloria (Bill) Maxon of Louisville; son, James Bryant of Youngstown; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Jesse Bryant, Chester Bryant and Arnold Bryant; sister, Mary Kirschman; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Virginia; son, Douglas; sister, Margaret Bungard; brothers, Eugene, Raymond, Clayton, Richard, Harold, and Ayers Jr.; and grandson, Jerry Maxon.
Services wil be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Don Knipp officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
