Steve A. Hundt, age 57 of Alliance, died at his home Thursday July 7, 2005.
He was born Oct. 28, 1947 in Alliance, Ohio to Albert Carl and Martha Lucille (Stark) Hundt and was a lifelong area resident.
Steve graduated from Alliance High School and received his B.S. from Akron University. He was employed for 35 years at WDPN as a Chief Engineer, and also at Alliance City Schools for 26 years in the Visual Arts Department.
He was a Ham Radio enthusiast since his younger years, and enjoyed following and attending many NASCAR events.
He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran, and received one bronze star and two service medals.
Survivors include his parents, Albert and Martha Hundt of Alliance; and one brother, Wayne (Paula) Hundt of Palm City, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Lewis of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday. Interment will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
