Sunny Earley

Eleanor Sunny Earley, age 80, of Alliance passed away on October 19, 2021.

She was born on April 2, 1941 in Salem, Ohio to Elmer L. and Eleanor (Macpherson) Earley.

Sunny graduated from Goshen Union High School in 1959. She worked for Mount Union College for 32 years until her retirement in 2006. Sunny was a member of First Christian Church where she helped with the food pantry and was the head of funeral luncheons. She enjoyed collecting antiques.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Connie Sue Grohnke; her son, Ronnie Flenniken; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joan Luckey and Jean Schwennsen; one brother, Bill Earley; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Marilyn Wilson and Katherine Domer.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 5, 2021, at First Christian Church of Alliance. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be at Salem Grandview Cemetery.
