Susan K. Pendergast, age 54 of Riverside, Rhode Island and formerly of Alliance, died at the Rhode Island Hospital on May 17, 2006.
She was born May 10, 1952 in Alliance, Ohio to Rudolph Sigmund and Helen Margaret (Montan) Kotzbacher.
Susan attended Alliance High School and retired from AT&T in Rhode Island.
She was a member of the Alliance of Transylvania Saxons Branch 8; and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. She enjoyed the ocean and flower gardening. Susan also enjoyed and was very proficient in sewing, both for herself and her family.
She is survived by her father, Rudolph Kotzbacher of Westville, Ohio; one brother, Robert (Pamela) Kotzbacher of Cheyenne, Wyoming; one great-niece Mara Kotzbacher, and one great-nephew, Seth Kotzbacher.
Susan was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Margaret Kotzbacher.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cassaday-Turkle Christian Funeral Home with Monsignor James Kolp officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
