Susie diDonato

Susie (Rotuna) diDonato, age 46, of Alliance, passed away at 3:55 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2011, at Canterbury Villa.
She was born August 10, 1964, in Alliance, Ohio, to James A. and Betty L. (Greiner) Rotuna.
Susie was a 1982 graduate of Alliance High School and employed at the former Bud's Discount Center in the pharmacy and Coastal Pet Products as a line leader.
She was a member and active volunteer of the First Christian Church. Susie was a dedicated volunteer at Regina Coeli Catholic School, former president of the Home and School Association, and because of her dedication, the Secret Santa is now known as "Susie's Secret Santa."
She was a wonderful mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend who also loved her dogs. She loved family vacations, especially going to Atlantic City and Disney World. Susie enjoyed shopping, cooking and entertaining.
Survivors include her husband, Tony diDonato of Alliance, whom she married June 14, 1997; daughter, Gina (Joe) Gallina of Alliance, son, Nicholas diDonato of the home; siblings, James K. Rotuna of Alliance, Kathy (Bill) Earley of Beloit, Jan (Jim) Dicko of Alliance and David (Brenda) Rotuna of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2011, at First Christian Church with Pastor Pam Bruno officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Susie diDonato Scholarship fund at Regina Coeli/St. Joseph School, 663 Fernwood Blvd., Alliance, Ohio, 44601, or to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, 8201 Corporate Drive, Ste. 1000, Landover, MD. 20785.
