Ted M. Rader, age 54, of Atwater, died at 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2012, at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born July 8, 1957, in Alliance, Ohio, to Curtis Stephens and Faye Rader.
Ted graduated in 1975 from Alliance High School and had been employed with Action Sport Cycles, Inc. for 35 years.
He loved to travel, taking many trips on his motorcycle through the years, including his dream trip to Alaska through the Yukon Territory, stopping at the Arctic Circle before returning home. Boating at Berlin Lake was a favorite pastime and he loved working with his animals on his hobby farm.
Survivors include his wife, Bobby Jean (McKinnon) Rader of Atwater, whom he married July 31, 1993; children, Stephen C. Rader of Alliance, Juene M. (Keith) Lowry of El Paso, TX, David L. (Megan) Rader of Atwater and Robert D. (Kellie) Huff of Alliance. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, whom he adored, Kynan, Allison, Braydon, Joshua, and Scout; half-sister, Danalee Mencer and half-brother, Curt Stephens.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cleveland Clinic Leukemia Unit, 9500 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, Oh, 44195.
