Ted Schrader

Ted Schrader, age 78, of Alliance, passed away at 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born Nov. 7, 1933 in Alliance, Ohio to Roscoe Sebastian and Lura (Marietta) Schrader.
A 1951 graduate of Alliance High School, Ted attended Kent State University.
Ted worked as a carpenter, having owned Schrader Construction.
A U. S. Navy Korean Conflict Veteran, Ted enjoyed electric trains, and traveling on his motorcycle.
Survivors include his loving companion of 33 years, Sally Goodwin of Alliance; children Rick (Nancy) Schrader of Canal Fulton, Kim (Dan) Steele of TX, and Dave (Heidi) Schrader of CA; and their mother, Carol Schrader of TX; and grandchildren, Joshua, Zia, Frances, and Lucas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Janet, Doris and Jean.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
