Ted Hunter Wollam, age 63, of Durham, North Carolina, formerly of Alliance, Ohio, passed away on October 29, 2018.
Ted was the son of Richard and Nancy (Edinger) Wollam of Alliance, Ohio. Ted was born on December 16, 1954.
He was a graduate of Alliance High School and enjoyed a young life of travel and adventure. In 1990, he graduated from Kent State University and moved to Durham, North Carolina.
Ted worked at Duke University Medical Center as a Radiology Technologist and then as 2nd Shift Supervisor for the past 28 years.
He was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Cindy Hill.
Survivors include his mother, Nancy; brother, Richard M. (Sheree) Wollam of Alliance and sister, Rebekah (John) Simcic, of Springdale, Pennsylvania, along with 20 nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony took place at Duke University Medical Pavilion on November 14, 2018. Chaplain John P. Oliver and Chaplain Michael Gross presided over the ceremony. Friends and co-workers shared stories of how Ted had touched their lives.
He was laid to rest at Fairmount Memorial Park in Alliance.
