Thelma R. Leppert

Thelma R. Leppert, age 75, of Alliance, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016, at her home.
She was born January 4, 1941, in Cadiz, Ohio, to Robert and Mary (Francis) Chappell.
Thelma was employed as a meat cutter and a personal care provider. She was a member of the Alliance Baptist Temple.
Survivors include her son, George Leppert of Lexington Township; grandson, George W. Leppert Jr.; three sisters, Marjorie Fisher and Alberta Ward, both of Alliance and Sylvia Walton of Canton; and two brothers, Gerald Chappell of Alliance and Ernest Chappell.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Lester H. Leppert, who died April 2001; and two sisters, Martha Gray and Audrey Campbell.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral home. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2016. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Thelma's family to be used for their discretion.
