Thelma Arlene Vrudney, age 87, of Deerfield, went home to be with the Lord on July 6, 2015.
She was born November 26, 1927, in Sebring, Ohio, to parents, Burt and Myrtle Mae (Sutcliffe) Martin.
Thelma worked at Gem Clay at one time, and then became a loving and devoted wife and mother to husband, Milton, and her three sons.
She loved reading the Bible and gave her heart to Jesus when she was in her sixties. She also enjoyed doing needlework and gave many gifts to friends and family.
Thelma is survived by her sons, Donald (Nancy) Vrudney, Michael Vrudney and Edward Vrudney; sisters, Beverly (Hank) Worgler, Sally (Dave) Sanky, Kayann (Dave) Boyle, Mary (Jim) McGeehen and brother, Don (Diane) Martin; grandchildren, Ryan Vrudney, Brad Vrudney, Tanya Rainey, Tracy Young and Todd Dewitt; and many great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband of 60 years, Milton Vrudney, whom she married April 15, 1950 and who died March 29, 2012; and sisters, Wilma Jean Hardy and Myrtle Rittenhouse.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 10, 2015, at Truth Baptist Church 1334 Stroup Road Atwater, OH 44201 with Pastor Roy Teague officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Following the service friends and family are welcome to join Thelma's family for food and fellowship. Interment will be held at Edinburg Cemetery.
