Theodore M. "Ted" Heltman

August 5, 1950 — March 26, 2017

Theodore M. "Ted" Heltman, age 66 of Alliance, passed away at 4:18 a.m. Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Aultman Hospital.
He was born August 5, 1950 and adopted by John and Margaret (Morris) Heltman.
A 1968 graduate of Marlington High School, Ted attended Carnation Beauty School and worked as a beautcian for 45 years. He was employed as a beautician at A Cut Above, Danbury Assisted Living and formerly worked at Sheetz.
Ted enjoyed watching football, was an avid Ohio State and die-hard Cleveland Fan, enjoyed going to the Browns and Cavs games and spending time with his friends and family.
Theodore is survived by his sisters, Peggy (Robert) Oyster, of Alliance, Janice (Brian) Marschinke, of Beloit, brother, James Heltman of Erlanger, Kentucky; nieces, Becky (Robert) McMaster, Kathy (Kevin) Lipely, Tammy (Greg) Hagge, Nicole (Fred) Korosy, Theresa (Brian) Barrett, all of Alliance; nephews, Jeffrey Oyster of NC, Gary (Kara) Deprill of Massillon, OH, Tyler Marschinke, of Beloit, Jonathan (Melissa) Heltman of Erlanger, KY and Keith Heltman, of Alliance, and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 3295 S. Union Ave., Alliance, Ohio, with the Rev. Timothy Muse officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to be used for their discretion.
