Thomas Weibush

Thomas Robert "Bob" Weibush, age 76 of Alliance, died at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004 at Canterbury Villa with his family by his side.
He was born September 1, 1928 in Maximo, Ohio to George E. and Henrietta (Stevenson) Weibush, and was a lifelong resident.
Mr. Weibush graduated from Alliance High School in 1947, and was the Co-Owner of Carnation Disposal and Weibush Landfill until retiring in 1987.
A member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, he was also a life member of the American Legion Post 166 of Alliance, member of the 40 and 8 Club, life member of B.P.O.E. #467 of Alliance, and life member of Dr. Roach's outdoor league.
Mr. Weibush was a U.S. Marine veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife Geraldine "Jerry" Castiglione Weibush, whom he married April 17, 1948; one daughter Karen (Mark) Locke of Alliance; two grandchildren Duane Locke and Jennifer Locke; one sister Dona Favazzo of Alliance; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, George E. Weibush Jr., Harry L. "Red" Weibush and James R. Weibush, and one sister Helen E. Wood.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Peters officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
