Timothy Tennant, age 57, of Beloit, died at 7:45 a.m. Saturday March 17, 2007 at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born Nov. 20, 1949 in Canton, Ohio to Clyde and Bernie (Walker) Tennant. A 1967 graduate of Minerva High School, Timothy worked at the former American Steel Foundries, currently Alliance Castings.
He enjoyed playing his guitar and tinkering with radio-controlled airplanes and helicopters.
A U. S. Navy veteran, he served as a radarman from 1968-1972.
Survivors include two sons, Matt (Pamala) Tennant of Canton, and Jason (RaeAnn) Tennant, Alliance; his mother, Bernie Tennant of Minerva; several grandchildren; his companion, Sheryl Douglas of Beloit; and siblings, Roger (Debbie) Tennant of Lake Helen, Fla., Norlene (Jeff) Gill of Minerva, and Doug (Sheri) Tennant of Minerva.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church in Minerva with Pastor Tim Hawkins of the Minerva Church of the Nazarene officiating. Dinner will follow with food provided by the ladies from the Nazarene Church.
