Tracie Hall DiRamio, age 45 passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2006 at East Alabama Medical Center in the arms of her beloved husband after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Canton, Ohio to Harold and Alyce Ann Hall on June 18, 1960, Tracie was a 1978 graduate of Marlington High School, a 1983 graduate of Kent State University, and in 2005, received her Master's Degree in Education from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas with an emphasis on Health Promotion.
She was employed as an Academic Advisor to students at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas.
Tracie is survived by her husband, Dr. David C. DiRamio of Opelika, Alabama; her parents, Harold and Alyce Ann Hall of Alliance; her brothers, Dan (Shelly) Hall of Auburn, California, and Todd Hall of Jackson Twp., Ohio; niece Jennifer Hall and nephew Tyler Hall of Auburn, California, and many other loving family members and friends.
A Memorial Service was held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Opelika, Alabama on March 28 and another one will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 10, 2006.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 8 at 11:30 a.m. at Union Avenue United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gordon Ruggles and Dr. Kenneth Chalker officiating. Friends may call one and one half hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Tracie's memory to the Scholarship Fund of Union Avenue United Methodist Church, 1843 S. Union Ave. Alliance, Ohio 44601.
