Trudy K. Warner, age 68, of Alliance, passed away at 6:00 p.m. Friday, December 24, 2010 at Alliance Community Hospital.
Trudy was born February 19, 1942 in Alliance, Ohio to Dillo and Louise (Grunder) Bowman and graduated from Sebring High School.
Trudy enjoyed arts and crafts and previously sold Home Interior items; she loved landscaping, rocks, and gardening; and watching her children, grandchildren and neighbor children swim in her backyard pool.
She had served as a board member for the Robertson Youth Center, was a member of the Booster Club at Alliance High School, and active with the Mother's Club during her sons high school years. Trudy also taught youth Jiu-Jitsu with her son, Rob at the Alliance YMCA.
Trudy and her family hosted students from Sweden as part of the Rotary Exchange program two years; and she enjoyed spending the holidays in Key Largo, Florida for many years.
She will be greatly missed by her family, including her husband, Bob Warner, whom she married September 19, 1970; sons, Steven (Donna) Hutmacher of Alliance, and Robert Warner of North Carolina; grandchildren, Heather and Matt Hutmacher and Logan and Quinn Curtis-Warner; brother John (Denise) Bowman of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Scott Hutmacher.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with John Warner officiating. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Ave., Alliance, Ohio 44601.
