Valery Mae (Robinson) Farmer, age 81, of Louisville, passed away at 5:30 a.m., Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Green Meadows Health and Wellness Center.
She was born October 27, 1932, in Canton, Ohio, to Harold and Eva (Bailey) Robinson. She was formerly employed as an LPN at Molly Stark.
Valery was a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church and the East Ohio Emanuel Emmaus and lay speaker.
Survivors include her husband, Jay Farmer, of Louisville; whom she married August 30, 1993; daughters, Sandy (Gary) Showalter of Alliance, Barbara Yoak and Chris (Jerry) Nelson, both of Marlboro; grandchildren, Gary Showalter, Mike Showalter, Christa (Mark) Kreminski, Gail Yoak, Kirsten (Jimmy) Garvey, Rachel Nelson and Molly Nelson; great-grandchildren, Nick Showalter, Kaitlynn Showalter, Connor Garvey and Evan Garvey; great-great-grandson, Bentley Showalter; brother, Carl (Donna) Robinson and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, George Bielz, Jr.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with Pastor Jeff Corbett officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery.
