Vera Mary Luchin

Vera Mary Luchin, age 89, of Alliance, died at 8:11 a.m., Monday, December 3, 2012, at Bel-Air Care Center.
She was born June 2, 1923, in Alliance, to Angelo and Sophie (Rinaldi) Luchin and was a lifelong Alliance resident.
Vera was employed as a clerk at the former Mahan's Music Store, the former Band Orch Music Store, and the former Gay Thomas Gift Shop. She also worked at Alliance City Hospital for five years.
She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alliance.
Survivors include four nephews, Garry, Craig, and Vincent Luchin, all of California and David Luchin of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, David P. Luchin.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 7, 2012, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Fr. Matthew Mankowski of St. Joseph Catholic Church officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
