Vera L. Wareham

Vera Louise (Richards) Wareham, age 84, of Alliance, passed away at 11:08 a.m., Thursday, October 26, 2017.
She was born April 30, 1933, in Marlboro, Ohio, to Wilson F. and Leota C. (Sheely) Richards.
A graduate of Marlboro High School, Vera was a nurse's aide at Alliance Community Hospital for 15 years and a phlebotomist for five years.
She was a member of Marlboro Christian Church and member of TOPS (Take off Pounds Sensibly) of which she was the Top Award winner in Northeastern Ohio. Vera also enjoyed coloring, working with flowers, crocheting, reading and loved taking care of her children.
Survivors include her daughter, Diane (Thomas) Wellman-Gordon of Massillon; sons, Daniel (Lora) Wareham of Panama City, Florida and Dana L. Wareham of Alliance; grandchildren, Robert Thomas, Brittany Leigh Wareham and David E. Edwards, Jr; and brothers, Carl (Jeanette) Richards, and Raymond Richards.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; son, Douglas L. Wareham and daughter, Denise L. Patterson.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at Marlboro Christian Church. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., on Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the Church. Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery.
