Vincent J. Lamielle age 69 of Alliance died at home August 8, 2003.
He was born November 14, 1933 in Canton to Clinton and Dorothy E. (Gulling) Lamielle. Mr. Lamielle was a 1951 graduate of Alliance High School, serving in the U.S. Army until Dec. 7, 1954. He worked as a core stocker for American Steel Foundries retiring in 1987. Vince was a member of VFW Post 1036. Survivors include his wife Dorothy, whom he married August 27, 1966, daughters, Sherrie Gantz of Hartville, Pamela Mallin of Strongsville, 7 grandchildren, sisters Rosemary Waldron of Alliance, Thelma (Ray) Bates of Akron, brothers Richard Lamielle of Alliance, Ted Lamielle of Westerville, and Joseph Lamielle of Wadsworth. His parents, and one grandson Luke Hardesty preceded him in death.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Rev. Dave Herman of Community Baptist Temple officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service Tuesday.
Interment will be at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
