Virginia Beutler

April 6, 1924 — March 2, 2006

Virginia Grace Deming Beutler, age 81 of Alliance, died at 9:05 a.m. March 2, 2006 at Altercare of Alliance.
She was born April 6, 1924 in Newark, New Jersey to Thomas Grant and Daisy Isobel (VanNess) Deming and lived in Alliance since 1946.
Mrs. Beutler graduated from Essex High School in Bloomfield, New Jersey and worked as an executive secretary for Conoco Oil Company in Port Newark, New Jersey.
Virginia married Ronald Edmund Beutler on Dec. 2, 1944 at St. Thomas Episcopal Cathedral in New York City.
She served with the WAAC (Air Force) during World War II with the 4108th Military Police Unit, and later worked as an exam assistant to Dr. T.W. Kinsey in the early 1950's.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald E. Beutler; daughter, Kathleen Ann Yeagley of Alliance; sons, Roger Deming (Carol) Beutler of Naperville, Illinois, and Wayne Edward Beutler of Sebring; two grandsons, Jeffrey Mitzel and Christopher Mitzel; four granddaughters, Debra Hurford, Lisa Mitzel, Sarah Beutler, and Allison Schultheis; twelve great-grandchildren; eleven step-great-grandchildren; and loyal friend, Cheryl Hurford of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son Glenn Kenneth Beutler in 1983; her sister Mildred K. Shields in 1972; and her son-in-law, Danny J. Yeagley in 2004.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with Pastor Gordon Thomas officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
