Virginia A. (Ullman) Ottle, age 76, of Alliance, passed away at 6:05 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center.
She was born November 25, 1937, in Millersburg, Ohio, to Wade O. and Geneva D. (Engel) Ullman.
A 1955 graduate of Alliance High School, Virginia was employed as a shipping/receiving clerk for 27 years at Sancap, retiring in 1991 and then retired from Walmart in 2013.
Virginia, a 65 year member of Christ United Methodist Church, became a member October 9, 1949. She taught toddler Sunday school classes for many years and was a member of the Outreach Committee. She was also a member of the Alliance YMCA.
She loved shopping, swimming and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to travel with her sister and brother-in-law to Cape May, New Jersey.
Survivors include her daughters, Kathy (Bennie) Brienza and Ann Graber (fiancé, Buddy Warren), both of Alliance; grandchildren, Jaime Graber, David (Heather) Bodo, Leanne (Damion) Prologo, Robert "BJ" Graber Jr. and Michelle Graber; great-grandchildren, Jarron and Jaxson Cooper, Astin "AJ" and Ariona Edwards, and Mason Prologo and great-grandson on the way, and Brooklyn Bodo; sister, Sharon (Casey) Riddle and brothers, Michael (Jeanne) Ullman and Joseph Ullman, all of Alliance, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Timothy F. Ottle, whom she married July 6, 1974 and who died August 12, 1993; son-in-law, Bobby Graber and nephew, Jeffrey Kirkendall.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2014, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Stephanie Lee officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
