W. Bernard Josh age 86 of Alliance died at his home at 1:15 p.m. October 4, 2003.
He was born in Alliance on November 1, 1916 to Elton and Alverda (Wallace) Josh. Mr. Josh was a lifelong area resident, graduated from Alliance High School, and retired as a welder.
He was a life member of Elks #467, a member of the Huskie Muskie Club, and enjoyed bowling and fishing. He was known to catch Ohio's largest Muskie, and held that record for ten minutes.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Sidley), whom he married in 1937, daughter Kay Brown of Alliance, son Ron (Carole) Josh of Pensacola, Fla., daughter Gayle (Lee) Radler of Poland Oh, six grandchildren, Putter (Kelly Ann) Brown, James (Jenn) Brown, Cynthia (John Paluska) Brown, Kristy (Chris) Hicks, Kirsten (Chris) Waack, and Josh Radler, and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Dorothy Williams, and brother Wendell Josh.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Peters officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Fairmount Memorial Park.
