Wallace A. Horn, age 87, of Alliance, passed away at 6:42 p.m., Thursday, October 20, 2016, at Community Care Center. He was born May 1, 1929, in Alliance, Ohio, to Charles and Delza (Van Fossan) Horn. Wallace graduated from Alliance High School. He was employed as a truck driver for Morgan Engineering for thirty-four years until his retirement in 1988. An avid car enthusiast, Wallace was a member of the Old Auto Enthusiasts Club, Model A Ford Club of America and the Antique Car Club of America. He was also a member of the First Christian Church of Alliance. Wallace was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving as an airman 1st class during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn (Sedoris) Horn whom he married May 23, 1952; sons, Larry Horn of Saint Augustine, Florida, Mark Horn of Atlanta, Georgia and Troy Horn of Alliance; three grandchildren, Todd Horn, Leslie Randolph, and Mallory Horn and two great-grandchildren, James Randolph and Mattea Horn. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Eudora Horn. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 24, 2016, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Freddie Rodriguez officiating. Private family calling hours will be held. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
