Walter W. Donohue

Walter W. Donohue, age 70, of Alliance, died at 2:35 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at his home.
Walter was born May 9, 1937 in Alliance, Ohio, to Pearlie and Kathryn (Connely) Donohue and was a lifelong resident.
He attended Alliance Public Schools and was a painter and bricklayer for General Multiplex and independently.
Walter was a U.S. Navy Veteran and served in the National Guard. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of the VFW.
He is survived by his children, David (Gloria) Donohue of Minerva, Bill (Connie) Donohue of Homeworth, Cynthia Donohue of Alliance Jeffery Donohue of Alliance, Tina Abernathy of North Canton and Walter Donohue II of Alliance; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Judith Hazel Campbell Donohue, whom he married April 15, 1957 and who died April 11, 2001; and brothers and sisters.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Lowe officiating. Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Damascus Cemetery.
