Walter Hodnick, age 47 of Alliance, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Alliance Community Hospital.
Walt was born April 20, 1962 in Canton, Ohio to Frank Joseph and Ermallina (Pelanda) Hodnick.
A 1979 graduate of Canton City Schools, he was employed by Winkle Industries.
Walt was an avid fisherman and hunter and life member of the National Fishing Club of America. He also enjoyed going to Cleveland Indians games and was a Green Bay Packers fan.
Survivors include his brother, Rudy (Stefanie) Marini of Alliance, and niece Allison Marini, of Alliance.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Harmon officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
