Wanda M. Shade

Wanda M. Shade, age 89, of Atwater, passed away at 11:05 a.m., Sunday, September 2, 2018, at Community Care Center.
She was born February 25, 1929, in Atwater, Ohio, to Virgil and Iola (Bean) Stull.
Wanda attended Atwater High School and had attended many of the class reunions.
She worshipped at the Atwater Church of the Nazarene and the Atwater Congregational Church. She was a member of the Alliance Senior Center. She enjoyed flowers, religious music, singing with the Deerfield Jam Sessions and was also an avid gardener and animal lover.
Survivors include her sister, Betty Bayless and brother, Robert Stull, both of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews and dear friends.
In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Roy J. Shade who died July 11, 2005; nephew, Timothy Stull; brother-in-law, Wilbert Bayless; and sister-in-law, Sharlene Stull.
Services will be held at Noon Friday, September 7, 2018, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Rich Hall officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Atwater Cemetery.
