Warren Muehlenbein, age 63, of Alliance, went home to the Lord at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Cleveland Clinic. He was born December 31, 1945 in Canton and was a lifelong Alliance area resident. Warren was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged as a Sgt., after serving for four years. A graduate of Canton South High School, Warren worked in the I.T. Department at the Genie Company for 38 years. He was of the Lutheran faith, loved gardening, Nascar racing, the Cleveland Indians, and the Florida Gators. Survivors include his wife, Diana L. (Dallas) Muehlenbein of Alliance, whom he married July 4, 2002; his son, Eric W. (Joy) Muehlenbein of Canton and a step-son, Shannon (Nichole) George of Alliance; grandchildren, Angela, Matthew, Jesse, Brooklyn and Reagan; great-grandchildren, Madison and Kheadon; siblings James Pennell of San Jose, CA, Nancy Bowman of Second Creek, W.Va., Linda Engelbrecht, of Sarasota Fla., Phyllis Millison of Frederick, MD, Kay Penning of New Smyrna Beach, Fla. and Cindy Cloud of Moneta, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Don Pennell Kendall. Services will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2010 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Darla Ann Kratzer officiating. Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Monday.
