Wayne A. Wilson, age 57, of Laveen, Arizona and formerly of Homeworth, died Saturday March 15, 2014 at Aultman Hospital.
He was born May 28, 1956 in Sebring, Ohio to Leonard Wilson and Mildred (Best) Wilson Grimm.
Wayne attended West Branch High School, and was formerly employed as a delivery driver for Terry's Tire Town.
He was a member of the former Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, former member of the Sebring American Legion Post 76, and lifetime member of the NRA.
Wayne enjoyed classic cars and hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth (Mangus) Wilson, whom he married Oct. 21, 2000; daughter Rebecca Brion Hughes; grandchildren, Victoria Wilson, Michael Brion and Christopher Hughes; seven step-grandchildren; step-children, Tina (Jeff) Chamberlain, Michael (Stacey) Wyatt, and Matthew Wyatt; brother, William Wilson, sister, Linda (Chuck) Puckett, and sisters-in-law, Connie Wilson, and Jeanie Wilson Redcay.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Richard, Dale, and James Wilson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Austin French officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
