Wesley Mulinix

Wesley Mulinix, age 65, passed away on May 24, 2023.

He was born on May 29, 1957, in Alliance, to Jim and Helen (Yamamoto) Mulinix.

Wesley worked as an oil driller and owned Wes’ Tree Service. While working on the drilling rig, he earned the nickname “Wong”. Wesley served honorably in the United States Marine Corp. He had many interests and talents including tattooing and leather work. Wesley enjoyed tubing and water skiing on Berlin Lake with family and friends. More than anything, Wesley loved making his family happy.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Loraine Gutscher-Mulinix; sister, Leila Jean Mulinix; four daughters, Nakia (Douglas) Jones, Tiffany (Dan) Tabellion, Steffany (Tom II) Kritz, and Katey Gula; eight grandchildren, Kristen Jones, Tylor Wade, Ashley Jones, Damon Wade, Joseph Jones, Thomas Kritz III, Layla Gula, Able Mercer; and two great-grandchildren, Pennelopi Ellis and Matthew Steinbaugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sue Sines; and a brother, Mike Mulinix.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Thursday, June 1st at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation two hours prior. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
