Wilbur E. Burns, age 83 of Alliance, died at 3:23 p.m. March 2, 2005 at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born February 8, 1922 in Alliance, Ohio to William J. and Clara (Buckle) Burns and was a lifelong resident.
Mr. Burns attended Alliance City Schools, and retired in 1984 after working in ground maintenance at Mount Union College for fourteen years.
Survivors include one sister, Helen (Frank) Bezon of Portland, Oregon and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, William L. Burns.
A Private Burial Service will be held. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
