William K. Copeland age 92 of Alliance, died at 8 p.m. February 19, 2004 at Mercy Medical Center.
Mr. Copeland was born
December 23, 1911 in Charleston, Ohio to Roy Parmley and Oliva Amelia (DeLano) Copeland, and lived the majority of his life in the Alliance area.
Mr. Copeland retired from Stewart Brothers Paint after working 31 years as a mill operator. He enjoyed playing cards with his family.
Survivors include his wife Norma (Vitullo) Copeland, whom he married Sept. 10, 1990, one son; Charlie (Georgette) Copeland of Alliance, and one daughter Phyllis Dawson of Alliance, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, one sister, Mary Faverty of Ravenna, 2 nieces, one nephew, and his dog, Cory.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Grace G. Copeland, who died in 1976, one son, William R. Copeland, who died in 1990, and one brother, Kenneth Monroe Copeland.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. David Hostetler officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
