William E. Householder II

William E. Householder II, age 68, of Sheffield Village, passed away at University Hospital on January 3, 2021.

He was born September 20, 1952 in Alliance, Ohio to William E. Householder and Betty J. (Meston) Householder.

William graduated from West Branch High School. He served his apprenticeship at Transue Williams where he worked as a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker. William then worked at Ford Motor Company in Avon Lake, Ohio, until his retirement.

He was an associate member of the Masons and was also a member of the Lorain VFW and the UAW. William was honorably discharged from the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War.

William enjoyed camping, hiking and fishing in the mountains of Pennsylvania; and loved watching his grandchildren play.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cathryn (Conrad) Householder, whom he married on March 2, 1985; his sons, Steven (Amber) Householder and James Householder; grandchildren, Tristen and Jozie Householder; and sisters Linda Brendlinger and Laura (John) Dunlap.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private funeral service will be held with interment with Military Honors at Fairmount Memorial Park.
