William F. Lucas

William F. Lucas, age 81, of Alliance, passed away at 11:50 p.m., Sunday, November 5, 2017, at McCrea Manor.
He was born May 19, 1936, in Alliance, Ohio, to William H. and Pearl (Vickers) Lucas.
William was a graduate of Goshen High School and retired as a supervisor from Sancap Liner Technology. He attended Bunker Hill Church.
William was a Veteran of the United States Navy.
In addition to his wife, Kathryn (Schmitt) Lucas, whom he married July 15, 1977, William is survived by his children, William D. (Anamaria) Lucas and Lance Lucas, both of Virginia, Michael Anderson of Alliance, Lisa Anderson of Wisconsin and James (Kristen) Anderson of Alliance; grandchildren, Carmen and Alex Lucas, Cariann Ball and Jordan and Cooper Anderson; great-grandchildren, India and Braylin; brother, Larry Lucas; and sister, Eleanor Spears.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Linda.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
