William C. Moore, a longtime resident of Alliance, died on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Windsong Care Center in Akron. He was 90 years old.
Bill was a graduate of Minerva High School and Fenn College (Cleveland State) and worked as a mechanical engineer at Morgan Engineering and Alliance Machine. He helped coordinate several of his high school reunions, was a member of Alliance Country Club and Trinity Episcopal Church. He enjoyed meeting his friends each morning for coffee, story telling and companionship.
Bill was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his daughter, Sally Schneider, son-in-law, Todd and grandson, Morgan of Bath, Ohio; his sister, Hazel of Arizona and several nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Mary of 53 years; parents, Dean and Gladys Moore and his brother, Chet of Florida.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m Friday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
